Police officers face time-sensitive, often dangerous, situations everyday. Ensuring that they get timely delivery of relevant information is vital.
To meet this need, police in three California cities—Walnut Creek, Bakersfield and Sacramento—are using Versadex Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and records management application software from Versaterm of Ottawa, Canada, and an IBM High Availability solution from Jeskell.
Jeskell provides high availability for Versaterm's mission-critical applications with the IBM High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing (HACMP) solution. HACMP runs on IBM pSeries eServers to provide near-continuous operation, scalability and ease of management. Jeskell also supplied HACMP planning, installation, testing and training.
